I was following the lyrics to Internal Clock, Municipal Orrery  
and they reminded me of something.  Perhaps someone already 
mentioned this, but I think they're describing the Astronomical 
Clock of Prague (Czech Republic).  I visited it when I was in 
college on a study abroad program.  This verse in particular 
really fits it.

I pull the cord; toll the bells
The cock beats its wings; when the window opens
The twelve disciples are mere dolls
Unblinking, a grand parade

On one side of the clock is a skeleton ringing a bell.  There's 
a rooster in center between 2 doors that open to reveal statues 
of the 12 apostles that circle by as the clock tolls.  At the 
end the rooster crow and announces the hour. The clock face 
also shows astronomical and season data as well as the time.
